Lake Wendouree Two Fly 2017 25th & 26th March 2017

The competition will be held over 25th & 26th March 2017. The cost of entering the event will be $50 per flyfisher. This includes entry to the event, a 2 course dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. All profits from the raffle and entrance fees will go towards supporting those Club members who are selected to represent Australia at international events.

The winner of the Lake Wendouree Two Fly will receive a :- Stalker Glide Fly Rod, total value of $650 Miniature Jim Thomas Memorial trophy . The event has become extremely popular and is now regarded as the “not to be missed” event in Victoria’s fly fishing calendar. Special Early Bird Offer-Register by 1st March for your chance to win.. 2016 Murray Codference

Come along to our first ever conference about Murray cod and hear all about:

We'll also outline how the State Government's is investing $46 million into the Target One Million plan to grow participation, improve Murray cod fisheries and get more people fishing, more often.

A panel discussion will end the afternoon with questions from the audience welcome.

Wild Trout Conference Mansfield

Mansfield Performing Arts Centre,  (at Mansfield Secondary College, 15  View Street (MAP)

Fisheries Victoria in collaboration with recreational fishing organisations is proud to once again present the Talk Wild Trout conference in Mansfield.

The Conference from 9.30am to 5pm will showcase presentations from leading scientists, managers and fishers about Victoria’s wild trout fisheries.  The Conference is an opportunity for trout anglers to expand their knowledge of trout fisheries, hear something of current trout management issues and enhance their fishing experience.
